let’s go to the country!
once upon a time there was grandpa and grandma country house and now here we are: an open space at the first floor, a unique aula in concrete and 3 wooden volumes that modulate it. 3 oak boxes: the stairwell, the storage/pantry, the restroom.
oak sliding partitions organize and galvanize the spaces.
outside the countryside, the bucolic dream of a “schifanoia” villa.
the windows, as eyes, catch the outside images and, as slide projectors, play them inside the house, inside the “diorama" of mind and soul.
inside here we are the town and its alleys, plazas, marketplaces.
inside here we are Peter Pan and the "lost boys tree house".
inside here we are David Bowie and the electric atmospheres of a glam-rock session.
my house is who I am, my house is what I stand for.
